Conference venue – SMC Conference & Function Centre
The Affordable Housing Conference will be held at SMC Conference & Function Centre, 66 Goulburn Street, Sydney, at the corner of Castlereagh Street. Located in Sydney’s CBD, the purpose built centre offers modern and stylish facilities. The venue is a four minute walk from Museum Station, and eight minutes from both Town Hall and Central Station. There is affordable secure car parking located diagonally opposite the venue.

Sydney Transport – how to get to SMC
Arriving by train? The closest station is Museum Station (300 metres or a 3 minute walk) and then Central Station (700 metres or 7 minutes). To walk from Museum Station, simply follow the Castlereagh Street exit signs inside the station, then turn left heading south down Castlereagh Street. At the first intersection (corner of Castlereagh & Goulburn Streets), turn right to come to the SMC main entrance at 66 Goulburn Street.
Arriving by air? The Kingsford Smith Airport is the main airport. It is about 10 kilometres (6 miles) south-west of the Central Business District and Sydney Harbour. We recommend you catch the train for a 13 minute trip to Central Station or take a taxi.

We are excited to announce entertainment from jazz musician Pearlnoire. When she performs it’s not uncommon to encounter Jazz with a Reggae flavour, or Blues with a taste of Latin America. The wonderfully enchanting Pearlnoire will bring her unique style to captivate and entertain attendees.
Dinner will commence from 6.30pm with excellent networking opportunities during arrival drinks, before guests are seated for a three course meal with accompanying drinks, followed by tea and coffee.
Tickets are an additional cost of $145.00 per person (incl GST), and can be purchased as part of the registration process.

Accommodation – where to stay in Sydney
The conference organisers have selected hotels that offer competitive rates to suit a range of budgets. These are easily accessible to the conference venue, and provide a comfortable stay for delegates. Rates quoted are only guaranteed when delegates book through the online conference registration until Thursday 24 May 2018.
PLEASE NOTE: To secure your hotel accommodation booking, credit card details must be provided. The conference organisers will forward your contact details, reservation and credit card details to your selected hotel. The hotel may charge one night as a deposit at 30 days prior to the conference start or at check in.
